Student Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, econometrics, mathematics, or physics
• A recent competitive GRE score (typically in the top 10% of test takers)
• High English language proficiency test (TOEFL/IELTS) score*
• Well rounded candidate with a strong motivation to pursue a PhD in finance
• Letters of recommendation from Academic faculty supporting your PhD ambition
*Scores that are more than two years old are not valid and will not be considered. Note that Chinese nationals should meet the institute's IELTS requirement as this is a condition for obtaining a Netherlands Education Support Office (NESO) certificate. Chinese nationals are required to register with the NESO in Beijing to obtain a NESO certificate. Not mandatory for candidates with sufficient proof of previous undergraduate education taught in English.
