Duisenberg school of finance is a recognised institute for higher education as decreed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of The Netherlands. Therefore the school has to comply with the Dutch Higher Education and Research Act (WHW).
The LLM Finance and Law and the MSc Finance programmes at Duisenberg school of finance are accredited by the NVAO (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders). Upon successful completion of the programme the student will receive a Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of Science (MSc) Degree respectively.
Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders
The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) is the independent accreditation organisation set up by the Dutch and Flemish governments, whose primary goal it is to provide an expert and objective judgement of the quality of higher education in Flanders and the Netherlands.
The assessment framework for higher education programmes is is based on a discussion regarding the content and quality of the programme. It focuses on six questions:
1. What is the programme aiming for?
2. With what curriculum?
3. With what staff?
4. With what services and facilities?
5. How does the programme intend to safeguard quality?
6. Is the programme achieving its objectives?

Nuffic is the Netherlands organisation for international cooperation in higher education. Nuffic is an independent, non- profit organisation based in the Netherlands and supports internationalisation in higher education, research and professional education in the Netherlands and abroad. Code of Conduct
Duisenberg school of finance has subscribed to the Code of Conduct for International Students in Dutch Higher Education. The Code of Conduct is an agreement between local government and educational institution regarding internationalization and contributes to the overall quality and control regarding international students in The Netherlands.
